Blueprint for Life Success

People often ask how I went from manufacturing to coaching, here is how I recently answered that question:
When I started in manufacturing I was all about design and development of product, loved the whole product creation process. I still love the creative aspect, but when I moved into management and away from product something else came alive in me.
It was much more rewarding to develop people than product. And to develop processes that brought out the best in people which in turn created great product.
It really was my success as a manager in the corporate world that drove me right to life coaching. Life coaching allows me to develop people without any corporate agenda, it is a very freeing experience for me.
Professional Bio: Jodi the Coach In 2004 I established a Life Makeover Group based on the book Life Makeovers by Cheryl Richardson. This group now called Makeovers & More motivated me to seek additional training for life coaching through the leading global provider of coach training programs while I further developed my coaching skills and ignited my passion. I combined my collection of people and business development skills and techniques from Corporate America with my Life Coach training to create a private practice that helps others establish inspiring goals and develop and implement key life strategies for success, while providing support, encouragement and accountability as my clients achieve more than they originally thought possible. Jodi the Corporate Executive Since graduating from Oregon State University in 1990 with a double major in Merchandise Management and Apparel & Textile Design I have worked in the apparel industry. I currently hold the position of Apparel Product Development Manager for Nike's Global Basketball Group. I really like my job, the energy of the office, the variety of people, and the opportunities to travel to Asia at least once a year. Jodi the Mom I never knew I had such a tremendous capacity to love a person until I had my daughter 14 years ago. That love was overpowering when she was an infant, now that she is a teen I still overflow with joy, love, and terror at times. She is a great kid with a humorous irreverent side. I have the opportunity to play both mom and dad in our home and I love almost every minute of it. We are very close and rarely have to worry about the toilet seat being left up. Just Jodi At the end of the day when I take off the roles of my life I enjoy a cozy fire, two sticks and a ball of yarn. If I add my dog by my side, a cup of coffee and a sappy romantic comedy life is near perfect.
During her 17+ years working in the apparel industry Jodi Rosenberg found her passion in management. Management ignited her desire to help people set and achieve inspiring goals. In 2004 she added fuel to that fire when she established a Cheryl Richardson Life Makeover Group that is still going strong today with some of the original members. This group now called Makeovers & More! opened the door of life coaching to Jodi. After researching many life coach training programs she enrolled in the Coach U's Core Essentials Training and has since created a business around helping others establish inspiring goals, developing and implementing key life strategies for success, then providing support, encouragement and accountability as her clients achieve more than they originally thought was possible.
